SAP system can't startup after restore

Jenny,
We have observed a few times where the work processes
have been dumped into the "Work" directory (i.e.
/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS##/work) and thus the system
would not start. This has only happened after we
performed a restore/copy.

To resolve this we had to remove these work processes
from this directory and make sure the subsystem was
stopped. Then we checked the authorizations on the
following files in the "Work" directory:

kill.sap
sapstart.sem
shutdown.sap

We had to give the <SID>## user *RWX & *ALL authority,
which it should have already had anyway, but didn't.
Then we tried restarting the system and finally all of
the work processes came up successfully.
