to print with sap

Hi Valeria,

OK, if it is not defined as IPDS, I'm pretty sure, that you can't use the
"add-on" functionality at all, because the IPDS functions can't called with
ESC-sequences as I know.

But, good luck,

Volker

P.S.: If you should be successful, please let me know. I would be interested in
that solution, because I worked for a printer-company several years ago and
always had to deal with these kinds of problems.

Thanks, I know this software solution but I want to by-pass that, and to try
working with formats for device and changing values on printer
inizialization and so....
but I do not know the escape sequences for the printer that should have to
be defined on the driver on the OS400. On the AS400 the printer is not
defined as IPDS.(I have specified because there is also another printer 4234
not ipds) and on sap I have obtained to print in different sizes with IBMSCS
when I have created a new format for this printer.
Thanks again
Valeria Tonelli

do not support there enhanced functionality with ESC-sequences on SCS
spoolfiles. IBM works here completely different to any other vendor, that
doesn't use IPDS.

(there are specified only the escape sequences for character spacing: 10cpi,
15 cpi 17cpi)
