Hi Alex,just look att OSS notes with "homogenious system copie".
There is a handbook too about this. Look at the installation guides in the
SAPNET.

Hello Group,
We are about to embark on a SAP upgrade, from 40B to 46C.
We have a partition, called SAPDEV46 that is empty, it has operating
system on it and ready to go.
I intend to copy our DEV and QAS, which lives in our SAPDEVL partition
to SAPDEV46 and possibly rename them to DEV46 and QAS46 or D46 and Q46
what ever is possible.
What is the easiest way to do the copy and whether some one has a
procedure to do the copy of the systems to a clean system and renaming
DEV and QAS. Is there any OSS notes or anything else.
I currently copy PRD (Production) and restore over our QAS system but
have never copied the system and renamed it into an empty system.
