Hi Folks:Got a question about Solution Manager. We just installed SM on a stand alone
Win2000/SQL server. My question is: the SM is put in as a add-on, is it
possible to put in on with an existing R/3?

Beware ... he's talking about the Solution Manager Starter Pack ... if you
only order SolMan itself you will only get the add-on and no installation
kit with database with it automatically, of course!

We installed using the SQL Shipped with the Solution manager pack...
I think this was only SQL7, I will check for you tomorrow when I am back in
the office

Hi all,
Does anybody knows if SQL Enterprise Edition is needed in order to install
Solution Manager in SAP WAS 6.10 on a Windows 2000 server?
Can we install Standard edition (which is by the way much cheaper)?
I asked our local SAP and they said that Enterprise edition is required.
