Starting DB Monitor

Hi Volker,

and what I have to do with OSS notes below? I'll not have to use them?

Hi,

you shouldn't run into the problem on V4R5 or higher with the latest PTFs,
because all known MUTEX problems are solved now.

Regards

Volker

Subject: Starting DB Monitor

Hello SAPlings!

I read some OSS notes about DB monitor (353167/392080/382109) and we
already created program "zstop_dbmon" and restored downloaded library
STOPDBMON.

Now I wish to know how do I proceed whether SAP work processes fall
in MTXW status. Should I running report "ztop_dbmon" first or
command "STOPDBMON INST(nn)"?

By my understanding, I must running command "ENDJOB" in OS/400
whether work processes are in permanently MTXW status, is it correct?

Thank's for all help!

Best Regards,
