Hi all,

lots of times we've received the advice to run the RCLSTG command in order
to keep consistency in an iSeries system where an R/3 instance runs. I want to
point out the attention of SAP sysadm running a V5R1 os release,
as the RCLSTG command is probably broken.
We had lots of error MCH0601 while running the RCLSTG command in the
productive system, which is an iSeries 830 running V5R1 and SAP46C, of
course we applied for the latest infoapar, nevertheless it doesn't correct
the MCH0601 error in the QDBRCLMA object.
Although we had lots of those errors during the RCLSTG, the system appears
to be consistent as we hadn't big problems after that incident. It looks like
the RCLSTG fails in large databases configurations, and you
have to apply PTF SI02375 to correct the problem.
Please note that That PTF isn't included in any cumulative.
We tested the PTF this morning in an iSeries system running V5R1, hosting
two SAP instances (dev+test) and we hadn't the error we had in the
productive system, so we're going to install that PTF in the productive
system in order to re-run later the RCLSTG.
