EBCDIC to ACSII Conversion - Class or Consultant ??
My understanding is to be able to convert to ASCII, you must attendthe class on EBCDIC to ASCII to become certified, or hire a
consultant.
Can someone please answer (or give your opinion) on the following:
1. Do I need to be certified or hire a consultant to convert to ASCII?
2. Is this process so dificult you need to be trained? What is so
difficult?
3. How many people have converted in a production envirnoment
4. Are there many horror stories with this converison or is it stable?
We are seriously considering performing the upgrade, and I'm still
not conviced to perform it at this time. I'm interested in what
others think about this conversion....the pros and cons
