Can anyone explain how ASP overflows are related to transports?

Hi,

We have been experiencing issues where transports will not complete
if we have an ASP overflow on our 3.0B BW system. Since the system
keeps running with this exception, I would like to understand what
the relationship to the transport system is.

Any explaination for this relationship?
