User logon report?
Yes--OS/400 journal receivers. We do a DSPJRN to an output file, then read thatfile back in and summarize the results into a customer file.

Jim, the journal entries that you refer to - would those be the journal(s)
on the OS? Do you manually manipulate the information in the journal?

Yet another way is if you have your Audit Profile configured (SM19/SM20).
Depending on how long you keep your security files and what your Audit
profile is configured to capture, you can have history of a user's actions.
Currently, I can execute a query for logon/logoff dates and times for
users.

Another choice is to summarize the journal entries for USR41. We pull the
delete entries and summarize them. The entry itself shows who signed on,
when, and from which terminal. The timestamp of the delete entry shows
when
they signed off.

Only thing always available is last logon date and time from USR02 (fields
TRDAT and LTIME).
Other than that I think you won't find what you're looking for.
Maybe the "accounting" that can be activated within CCMS somewhere per user
offers some extras for you (user master records needs to be assigned
accounting number via SU01 once and something has to be activated in CCMS
for this but that's about all I know of that) ... the Online Docu should be
more informative on this subject ... 😎

Is there a SAP standard report available that shows a history of user
logons and logoffs? Are there tables that store such information? We want
to be able to see when specific users logged on, and the duration of their
logon, in the past year (for example). Is this possible?
