Table 'Z' is not created in database after HSC


Hi Volken,

The systables is ok. I think that I didn´t do the RSTLIB wrong.
I will explain the situation:

- I have an AS400 with V4R4 with the system processing ok
(R3MSBDATA).
- I want to transfer the system to another AS400 with V5R1
(R3PRDDATA).

I did:

1 - Backup old system (R3MSBDATA)
2- R3SETUP - option 1 - Copy instalation from CD
3- r3setup '-f dbr3cpr3s'. When the system ask to do the
rstlib, I cancelled the dbr3cpr3s.
4- I did the upgrade of the kernel .
5- Rstlib savlib(r3msbdata) dev(tap01) option(*new) mbropt
(*all) allobjdif(*all) rstasp(2) rstlib(r3prddata)
6- Menu R3setup option 9 - Create R3 system object
7- Menu R3setup option 11 - Create R3 instance object
8- I Create the journal (Crtjrnrcv and Crtjrn)
9- As4fixfile
10- saplicense
11- starttup the system
12- executed sdb4gen and rsdb4gen
13- check transaction sick - it was ok.
14 - deleted entries from tables: moni, pahi, osmon, dbsnp,
sdbah, sdbad, sdbap, sabar.
15- rsbtcdel
16- rza10 to import the profiles (adjusted to PRD)
17- check consistency TemSe. SP12.


After that, I asked to the key-users make tests in the system.
One of the abap´s programmer told me that he couldn´t consult a table by
SE11, SE16. The message is ' Table not exist in the database'. There are
data in the tables, the aplications insert and updates the tables, but I
can´t see in the SE11, SE16. I tryed to create the table by transaction
SE14, but appear an error: ' Table existe in the database' in the create
table.
I don´t know where I did wrong. The key user told me that the
system ok, but I know that it isn´t true.

Hi Mauro,

as "HSC" is really no abbriviation of "homogenious systemcopy", you should
try to write what you are really doing. I had to think 2-3 minutes on this
- and was only successfulb ecause I saw your name and you were doing such
stuff lately.

most likely you did the "HSC" wrong!
dspfd r3siddata/systables will show you the old SID instead of the new one.
Then you did the error during the RSTLIB.

You can correct this with note 66985.

Hi,

I´m testing the system after HSC. I verified one poblem. Table 'Z'? is
not created (se11,se14). The tables exist in the database, but in the se11
or se14, they aren´t created. I tried to create in transaction se14, but I
can´t. It appear an error saying that the table already exists in the
database. I tried to reconstruct the table, but the same error appear.

How can I solve this problem?
