R: CHGTCPA to 1MB!
Hi All,We have TCPRCVBUF set to 4194304 and TCPSNDBUF set to 4194304 from some
months....but now , as suggested by note 92589, we have set this buffers exactly
to 1048576 and the reponse time from SAPGUI on our PC clients is considerably
best!!!! That's crazy!!!

I don't know if this is set on ALL of your iSeries machines already:
CHGTCPA TCPRCVBUF(1048576) TCPSNDBUF(1048576)
or
CHGTCPA TCPRCVBUF(2097152) TCPSNDBUF(2097152)
Because even when we claim in note 92589, that this will only affect 3-tier
systems, this affects in reality all custmers, that share their trans-directory
on a different iSeries, because QFileSvr.400 gets then the bottleneck of the
standard 8KB buffer values! (we will change the note soon, so don't be
surprised, when you can't find it, because it may currently be "in processing".)
