Hi Ramon,nothing will happen!
Because the ASCII Runtime is just an add-on to OS/400.
It only creates a few table beginning with CMV* in lib QUSRSYS.

I currently installing BW on the AS400 and I completed the Database Instance
and I'm in the process of Installing the Central Instance. To install the
Central Instance, the first task on the Installation Preparations is to
submit this program QADRTCINF with parameter Update and this job will
Initialize the ASCII environment. Can someone tell me what will happen if I
submit this job to my EBCDIC R/3 system on the same partition. I'm searching
for a documentation for this Initializing the ASCII environment if you know
any documentation can you please forwarded to me.
