Hi Klaus,yes, but I'm in doubt, that it works automatically for all connections. And, I
even don't know, if new connections will run with this new setting before
restarting.

In the Note you say TCP/IP has to be restarted, but have you tried to change it
while TCP/IP is up an running ?

I don't know if this is set on ALL of your iSeries machines already:
CHGTCPA TCPRCVBUF(1048576) TCPSNDBUF(1048576)
or
CHGTCPA TCPRCVBUF(2097152) TCPSNDBUF(2097152)
Because even when we claim in note 92589, that this will only affect 3-tier
systems, this affects in reality all custmers, that share their trans-directory
on a different iSeries, because QFileSvr.400 gets then the bottleneck of the
standard 8KB buffer values! (we will change the note soon, so don't
be surprised, when you can't find it, because it may currently be "in
processing".)
