startsap fail
Hi Allesandro,I also did a restore 21 during the holidays and had a similar problem
that SAP did not start after the restore. In my case i found that the
SAP related services did not get restored (they are not in a user
library).
Check the TCP/IP table: CFGTCP, option 21, option 1. Scroll down
until you see the SAP services. Those services are in table QATOPCS
in QUSRSYS. If you are on 5.1.0 the table is read only. I had to
write a small program adding the SAP services to the table (after the
new table had different values then my old one I did not want to do a
replace).
