Hi Christine,We have upgraded the IBM OS/400 from v.5 r.1 to v.5 r.2 from November 2 2002
and I confirm that Mr.Thomas said (...write in this e-mail) as reply to your
question!
I hope that IBM-SAP resolve this problems as soon as possible!!!

Hi Christine,
we jump from V5R1 to V5R2 and on this we do an hardware change too. I think the
release change to V5R2 should not be a problem. And our systems keep runnig. But
befor contacted SAP and IBM because I tink that V5R2 will have some performance
problems. As we find out and you can see in a lot of mails in this group.

Hi Gang,
I was wondering if everyone could be so kind as to give me their opinions on
V5R2 versus V5R1? We are currently on V4R5 and plan on upgrading or DEV machine
to V5R1 in February and our PRD machine in mid March. Since V5R1 support
expires 5/31/03, I think it makes more sense to jump straight to V5R2. To those
that are on V5R2, was the upgrade a major success with little or no problems on
the SAP side of things?
