3tier iSeries IS NOT A VIABLE PLATFORM FOR SAP as of V5R1! - IBM PMR ROADBLOCK with SAP!

Thank you for highlighting this issue. I have a similiar landscape
and was planning to upgrade to 5.2 in April. Now I am not so sure.
We are also currently doing a platform review, whether to stay on
iseries or move to another platform.
As we are on version 4.6b we also have a lot more work to do in order
to upgrade to 4.7 because of the AScii conversion tool only available
on 4.6c
These kind of ploblems are not helping the ISeries case.

regards
Dick
