change ASP configuration
Hello group!We have an 730 machine dedicated for development&test. There are installed on it
two R/3 systems, one for development, the other for quality assurance. The
current system configuration includes 6 ASPs: one system, one empty, one for
database library of development system, one for database library of QAS system,
and one for each journal receivers library, and we want to change this to only 3
ASPs. In order to do this we have to move the database library of one R/3 system
and both journal receivers libraries to different ASPs.
I have the following questions:
-what do we have to save, besides the libraries themselvs, in order to be able
to restore the data to the new ASPs (userprofiles, security data?)
-does the journaling needs to be stoped before saving and restarted after
restoring the journal receivers libraries?
-what configuration files (if any) needs to be changes after changing the
location of the libraries to the new ASPs?
