If You are on Exchange 5.5 use SXC version 1.x if you are on Exchange 2000 useSXC version 2.x. Here is a note you should check out for SXC version 2.x.
See SAP note 516135
Call sxcsetup with the following commands. For SXC 2.0X
(pay attention to upper and lower case spelling)
1. <dir>\sxcsetup.exe /p="MS VB SnapIn"
2. <dir>\sxcsetup.exe /p="MS Exchange Server DLL"
3. <dir>\sxcsetup.exe

Hi Christine.
Sorry about the confusion. We are planning on using an exchange server with
R/3 but we think you only need to install the Exchange connector software
from the CD and configure the RFC connections in R/3.
Note 63480 says 'SAPconnect SMTP Linking or SAP Exchange Connector', not
both. And from the manual for Exchange Connector from the CD:
2. First you should extract and study the manual helpfiles.
If not already done, install the SAP Exchange Connector with calling
setup.exe.
After that, start the Exchange Administration program and configure the
SAP Exchange Connector like described in the manual.
Afterwards you have to configure and test the RFC connection; call within
R/3
the RFC configuration transaction (SM59) and use button "connection
test".
Finally you should configure SAPconnect in R/3 and exchange a testmail
from an R/3 user to an Exchange mailbox and vica versa.
There are several emails from previous discussions in the list. If you
search for SAPConnect, you should be able to see them.

Hi Chris,
I know about SAP's Exchange Connector that is on the GUI CD but all the
documentation I read states that you also need to install SAPConnector in
order to link SAP with the Mail Server so I was wondering about any
resellers/distributors of SAPConnect.

Hi Christine.
Are you talking about SAP's Exchange Connector software? From the SAPGUI
cd - 50044774, directory '\GUI\Windows\Win32\sxc', has the actual setup
program for the Exchange server and R/3.
From OSS notes, depending on which version of Exchange and Windows you are
using, as to which SXC folder you need. Each SAPGUI version CD (46D Comp.
3.., 6.10 or 6.20) has a different version I believe.
Look in OSS for SAPConnect and Exchange for more information.
