New SAP - Kernel ?
Hi group,since we have changed to V5R2 with a new iSeries we have performave
problems with our SAP on this system.
Last saturday we installed some more fixes an 8GB of mainstorage. Now it
looks realy good. At the moment ! Because the system gets slow when the
temp storage grows and it began to page. We will see in the next days if
this will go on or if its better now.
Now another thin. IBM told us that SAP programs a new kernel to support th
power 4 technologie and this should bring the real kick, and then every
thing will be mutch faster !!!
Some one heared about this ? And a date when this option will be ready for
use ?
