Hi Craig,

I would assume no problems at all, because this check was not in there before
1286 and nobody had problems.
It is just a "safety" check, that hopefully could be removed soon - but I really
don't know if SAP interested in that ...

Perhaps, you should complain with that SAP transaction and that note, that SAP
should test the 64-bit arcitecure soon and then release it again as it was
before ?

We ended up using the 4 gig setting on our 46D R/3 Kernel because the
SAP transaction we are running would no longer run. We have not
experienced any problem so far (since November) but I expect we will
hit the same limitation with this SAP program once again within the
next year or so. Judicious archiving may help, but I don't have my
hopes set too high.

We also hit the 2 gig limit on our 620 BW kernel but were able to
redesign the program requirements to get around it around it.
