HiYes I have downloaded this note (407621) and will send to you
separately.
What version of Client Access Express is installed on the Windows
2000 server?
We had a problem recently with the qxdaedrs.dll file which was
installed with a V5R2 version of this software, and had to remove it
and reinstall the V5R1 client, followed by the latest XDA mentioned
in the above note. This was for an APO 3.1 on iSeries (ASCII)
install, with Windows 2000 application server. Kernel is 46D ASCII.
You will need to put the parameter abap/import_char_conversion = 2
in your app server instance profile as you converted from EBCDIC to
ASCII.
Kernel patches for Windows 2000 app server: one way is to extract
the patch files using sapcar -xvf to a different directory (perhaps
on a mapped drive) and then stop the instance, plus services SAPOSCOL
and the instance service, and copy the files into
the /usr/sap/<SID>/D<nn>/exe directory on the Windows 2000 server,
via Explorer.
