1Gig Ethernet

FYI-
The latest card is the 57xx series. This card requires V5R2 OS
level.

The 57xx series has better overall performance characteristics than
the 2743 (the original GB ethernet card), but in some instances is
the same.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that either card is faster than
Opticonnect.
