Scheduling a job

Hi Des:

You can define a factory calendar to include all public holiday and weekend.
In the job definition, on the restrict tag, tick the job only run on work
day, specify the factory calendar. Then you can sit back and relax.

Subject: Scheduling a job

Hi, Group!

I have a situation where I have been asked to schedule a job to run on the
1st of the month but ONLY if the 1st falls on a Public Holiday or a weekend
(Sat or Sun). Is there any simple way of doing this, or will I have to
resort to a custom program to do this?

I thought of setting up a calendar that had only weekends and public
holidays as the workdays, but the configuration does not allow you to
specify a holiday calendar ID if you want your public holidays to be
workdays. I get message FK446 "No holiday calendar to be entered where
public and work days exist".

What I need is for my workdays to be EXACTLY opposite to that of my normal
factory calendar. How do I achieve this?

Thanks in advance!
