Copy system from V4R5 & restore to V5R1 server
Hi All,I have some suspect about testing Upgrade V4R5 to V5R1. I want to
copy system from V4R5 and restore to V5R1 server. If my testing like
below,It can work or not.
1.Upgrade DEV Server to V5R1. Then DEV Server will V5R1.
2.Backup entire system from PRD server (V4R5).
- Backup DEV server with entire system (V5R1).
- Clear only data at DEV server. (microcode & OS V5R1 not delete).
- Restore data PRD from tape into DEV server with option 21.
3.After testing finish restore entire system form tape backup DEV Server.
Please give me some suggestion. Thank you in advance.
