Upgraded V5R1 -> V5R2 in production Applicatio n servers are showing high CPU usage
Hi Udo,I've copied a message from an earlier post. Perhaps you could email the
gentleman personally and obtain the PTF's from him that need to be loaded.
Regards,
Christine
Hi Don,
we have done the upgrade last weekends and since then we got performance
problems. They are fixed right now by IBM,but the PTFs are not public. In
addition they changed something in the SST. This changings will be included
in a
PTF as well. So I would advise to wait for this PTFs.
Technicaly you could perform the change to V5R1 like described in
SC42-2049-00
an SC42-2092-06 (SC42-xxxx-xx are the german one, select your language code)
Mit freundlichen Grüssen/Yours sincerely

Hello Groupies.
We did a V5R1 -> V5R2 OS/400 upgrade this weekend. Now as I'm coming under
full load I see a high CPU usage on my 2 730/SB1's. Responds time is 3-4X
higher than normal. Any ideas from the group. Have IBM working on this.
Udo
