problems with SAPkernelpatch level 956 in combination with old cum pack C1296450
Hello everybody,hoping anybody can (and will) answer my question,
We're having three SAP instances (DEV, QAS & PRD) on one 830 running
V4R5.
Lately we haven't updated the PTF level and so our latest cum pack is
C1296450. The SAP kernels are all on path level 956.
In our pre upgrading proces to V5R2 we want to update the PTF level
to C2169450 (according to SF99450) and subsequentially upgrade the
SAP kernel of the Development system to patch level 1444, and,if no
problem accurs, update the kernel of the other two systems one week
later or so.
Does anybody experienced (or know I will) any problems with the
production system with the old kernel in combination with the new cum
pack??
