SAPFTP Problem
Hi group,I have a problem FTP'ing a dataset from the IFS to an HP3000 system.
The dataset has multiple records which get truncated on the HP side
to just 1 record.
The strange thing is that when I FTP the same dataset from the OS I
see all record in HP. Using the SAPFTP CONNECT and DISCONNECT
function calls sends the entire dataset over (the number of bytes
reported by SAPFTP is the very same as the file size in the IFS).
More strange, if I use the same ABAP program to SAPFTP the dataset to
the same AS/400, but into another file name, I get all the records
again.
So the problem must be the HP3000 system. I tried different CFLF
combination, including blanks and 0D25 (EBCDIC CR and LF) but still
have the same problem.
Does anybody FTP data from your SAP environment to an HP system? And
if yes, is there something I am overlooking?
