backup server

Hi,

I think, there are sufficient consultants out, that can help you in this matter.
To plan a backup + recovery scenario, this list is unfortunately not the right
media, because it would be too risky, if it wouldn't work afterwards.

Sorry,

Volker

P.S.: But, IBM and SAP consultants can definetely help you in this matter.

Hi Volkar,

Infact we have a LAN connection to our remote site but our business does not
demand putting in a high speed link between the primary and secondary site
for hot replication of data.We are aware of solutions like mimix which can
help us in data transfer through LAN. We have installed the HW in
consulation with hardware partner and would like to work on cold backup
strategy. The help I need is what would be the minumum backup I need to save
on my tape and send accross to secondary location for restore so that both
the servers are consistent.
Please let me know few limited crazy choices also.

Neeraj
