External Sorts
Hi Gang,We have a custom program that when run, it pulls records from BSIS into an
internal table, which is being done so successfully. The next thing is to
perform a sort statement against the internal table but when performing this
step, it results in an ABAP shortdump; EXSORT_FWRITE_FAILED. If I look at
the output from the ABAP shortdump, it states that the cause of the error
indicates that the external sort does not have access to sufficient disk
space and that I should ensure that /usr/sap/PRD/DVEBMGS02/data has enough
space or set the profile parameter DIR_SORTTMP to another directory.
Can anyone tell me how to resolve the above error?
