Hi,you are totally right.
IBMSCS does work with "variable LPI/CPI" which is most likely (100%)
not supported with this old printer.
So, you have to use IBMSCS2 which doesn't do so.
What CPIs and LPIs are supported on this printer ? Just 10 CPI or 15
CPI as well ?
Because I could imagine, that even the QSYSPRT setting on your system
(not the variable one) could cause the printer some headaches.
What CPI and LPI is described with option 8 at the resulting
spoolfile with IBMSCS2 ?
