SQL Error Showing in WP's Joblogs
Hi Crosby,That program is still available for 46C but I think I would get my rear end
chewed out seven ways from Sunday if I ran it. I've opened up a PMR with IBM
and sent them a joblog from one of the SAP WP's and they think they may have a
PTF for the problem. I'll let you know what I find out.

This program organize and regenerate all of SAP ABAP/4 programs. You should do
this when you delete your SQL's package because it breaks the connection to the
database and rewrite the SQL to access it. The only draw back is that after
this is done each program has to recompile when a user enter it for the first
time. It can and will slow the system down until all the transaction that are
used frequently have been recompile.
Hope this helps. By the way I'm on 3.1I and maybe they took that away in your
version. Check in SE38 if it is available on your system.

We delete the SQL packages on a weekly basis as well as perform an IPL. I've
never heard of the "TOUCHALL" thing. Could you elaborate?

How often do you delete your SQL package? Whenever I see SQL errors on my
system I would delete the SQL package, do an IPL and reinitialize all of SAP's
program (TOUCHALL). This helps a great deal. I delete the SQL packages once
every 2-3 months or when adding new Kernel, patches, OS upgrades, Database
upgrades ETC. Hope this helps some.
