One other question for the group.
We currently have a separate install# for IS-Automotive that we have had
since go-live in 2000 although we do not have it installed yet. If we add
IS-A to our current R/3 instances, what will happen to the IS-A install we
are already paying for?? Can it be dropped?

Hi Chris,
the IS-A in DI46C2 package is compatible with you 4.6C system. 4.6C-SR2 is
4.6C plus a set of support packages bundled together as "support release 2".
IS-A package is independent from the codepage of the underlying system, i.e.
you may install DI46C2 on any 4.6C system either EBCDIC or ASCII.

We are making plans for implementing IS-Automotive for our 46C system. We
have just received DI46C2 cd's and a 46CSR2 (51013953,954) set of install
cd's.
First question: Is there not an add-on for IS-A for our current 46C
system (not SR2)?
Second question: If the IS-A can not be used in a release lower than
46CSR2, does the system have to be ASCII?
