Upgrade 46d kernel ascii 1044 level
Hi guys,Can any body give advice!
We are running the R/3 4.6c on V5r1 machine and presently my kernel
is very low at 1044. I want to upgrade to the 1600 series or what
ever is the latest.
I could not upgrade due some issues and till now system are running
fine. I got a chance to upgrade support pack presently at level
36 .but kernel was left out.
My concern is from going to such low level to high level will have
any impact on the system. Do I need to apply any PTFs for going to
such a level ?
I prefer to apply in incremental stages like going to few level then
wait see performance and then go to anther level.
IF at all I need to apply in incremental way how should I approach?
and what level should i go in the beginning?
Please advice? Very concern that I'm at very low level. It has been
a while I applied.
