Printing Locally from SAP 3.1I
Here's what we did on 3.1H--I don't remember doing anything differently for4.6C:
Define output device in SPAD called LOCL
Device type SWIN
Device class Standard printer
Host spool access method F: Printing on fronted computer
Host printer __DEFAULT
Anything that a user prints to LOCL gets printed on their default Windows
printer. There used to be a drawback of using up a dialog session for the
duration of the print request, but as long as you're only doing a page or two at
a time, it shouldn't hurt much.

Hello there everyone, Happy New Year and hope this year brings all of you the
best it has to offer. A few of my users are currently setup to work form home
however, they need to print reports to their local printer. Does anyone has the
procedure to configure a local printer to print from SAP in the 3.1I version?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to create a remote writer
because there are more than 20 users working from home. Thanking you in
advance.
