We used them during our Support Package maintenance. It worked well, exceptsome of our jobs ran too soon. We found that the jobs that had a
"do-not-run-after" time on them behaved better. For example, our MRP job might
kick off at 1:00am. We ran the TRNS1, which held it, then applied maintenance
for a couple of days, coming back up at 8:00am. When we ran TRNS2, the job said
"it's after 1:00am, so I need to run." If it said "it is after 1:00am, but I
was supposed to run before 2:00am, so I'll wait until 1:00am again", it would
have been cleaner for us, but it was still easier than holding and releasing all
the jobs manually.

Hi All,
Does anyone use programs BTCTRNS1 and BTCTRNS2 to hold background
jobs around maintenance? Is there any reason why I shouldn't?
