Hi Rick,Make sure your host printer = __default and not _default. (that is 2
underscores followed by the word "default")

Subject: Re: Printing Locally from SAP 3.1I
Hi Thomas,
Actually we're running 4.0B but I presume the idea is the same. Our
setup is as described:
Output device = LOCL
Device type = SAPWIN - (Rel 4.x/SAPlpd 4.x ONLY!)
Host printer = _DEFAULT
Access method = F
When the user goes to print and selects LOCL, it brings up their
default Windows printer but never prints. I was thinking she should
actually execute SAPlpd on her pc and minimize the window before she
goes to print. Guess I'll have to test it out here. For some reason,
I thought SAPlpd only needed to be present and it would be called
when needed.
Thanks,
Rick
