Number of outbound IDOCS

If you create all IDocs in background you might be able to control where the
background jobs run. If you have users submitting the jobs instead of
defined scheduled jobs, you would probably have to front-end the process
with some custom code. If users have the ability to create IDocs in either
foreground or background, you are probably out of luck. You would be better
off to turn off buffering or remove your dependence on the consecutive
numbering. I don't know what your reliance on the IDoc number is, but you
might be able to accomplish the same thing by using the creation date and
time in the IDoc control record (EDIDC). You might also take a look at IDoc
serialization. We don't use it and I don't recall the details, but it might
be useful to you.

Good luck,
Stan McPartland

Yes ... this is my scenario: One 840 for all user in the past and now
one db server and 3 appsrv 🙁
Do you know if is possible generate IDOCs on one only application server ?
