You can use this enhancement to adjust the accrual period.

The end date of the accrual period determines the time at which the quota is generated. Long accrual periods (such as monthly ones) sometimes require the quota generation time to be brought forward, for example, when an employee leaves the company.

If you want the system to automatically determine the remaining entitlement when an employee leaves, for example, and transfer it to the Absence Quotas infotype (2006), you can use this interface to to generate the quota ahead of the usual time and to transfer the accrual entitlement using the Quota Corrections infotype (2013).

The interface of this enhancement transfers the "valid from" date determined in Customizing and the "valid from" date to be changed. The system also provides additional information about

• The Actions infotype (0000)

• The Organizational Assignment infotype (0001)

• The Date Specifications infotype (0041)

• Customizing data for the accrual period

As of the SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.70 release, you can take account of employees' changes by using the Change in Work Center/Basic Pay field.
