NC120002 - IS-H: User Exit for Patient Exclusions in EDI Procedures

You can use this function to specify additional criteria according to which particular patients can be excluded from an EDI procedure.

Until now only those patients whose external patient ID did not start with S/T/F/G were excluded for NPMI (Singapore).

Depending on the EDI procedure (and consequently the point at which the module is called) either the parameter Patient number or External patient ID is passed to the user exit. If the institution is not known when the module is called, this parameter remains empty.

If you decided that this patient is not relevant for electronic data interchange, you set the return parameter E_EXCLUDED to 'X' (on).

This user exit is called in the function module ISH_EDI_PATIENT_EXCLUDE, which is used for the following EDI procedures:
