NPRV0001 - IS-H: Enhancement connection external procedure coding

Overview

This enhancement enables you to call an external program for procedure encoding.

Components of the Enhancement

The enhancement NPRV0001 contains three components for calling procedure encoding from surgical data entry in the IS-H System. (EXIT_SAPLN017_001) for the old surgical data entry transaction, (EXIT_SAPLN042_001) for the new surgical data entry transaction, (presently only released for the country version Singapore) and for calling procedure encoding from the IS-H*MED module (EXIT_SAPLN2OP_002). The interfaces of both user exits are identical. Please activate the respective components using the transaction CMOD. Sample source code is located in the include program LXNPVF01 or LXNPVF02.

Sample source code for the connection of KODIP-OP is located in the include program LXNPVFKO.

The interface of the enhancement components also enables you to specify an encoding text if desired. If you do not pass a text to the exit, please make sure that it is not possible to specify a text in the external encoding program.

In addition to the determined ICPM code and the assigned text, output information also includes the number of characters by which the code is shortened. This field can be filled if an ICPM code was selected on a detailed level (e.g. 6-character ICPM) but is only available on a higher level (e.g. 5-characters) in the IS-H System.

Procedure

For information on how to implement enhancements, please refer to the system documentation or the online documentation on transaction CMOD (Project Management of SAP Enhancements, Function Exits).

Please refer to the sample source code in the include programs (LXNPVF01 or LXNPVF02) assigned to the enhancement components.

If you want to activate the connection, please maintain the entry for the RFC destination ISHPVEXT using the transaction SM59 for the connection type TCP/IP connection.
