NPZIFF00 - IS-H: Calculate Check Digit

Overview

By means of the event NPZIFF00 you can activate a customer-specific logic for calculating the check digit for patient- and case numbers. This routine replaces the calculation based on ISO 7064 used in the standard software shipment.

Components of the Enhancement

The enhancement NPZIFF00 contains the following component (function exit):

• EXIT_SAPLN000_001: calls a function to calculate the check digit.

Procedure

Note

If you implement this user exit to modify check digit calculation in your system, you must run the program RNUPZIFF. This program recalculates then saves the check digits of the patients and cases in your system.
