PBEN0001 - Customer enhancement for feature BAREA (benefit area)

In the standard SAP system, the feature BAREA is evaluated to assign a benefit area to an employee. You can use a function exit to bypass or modify this mechanism.

To use the function exit, proceed as follows:

• Create an enhancement project and then assign the enhancement PBEN0001 which is described here to this project.

• The function exit
  EXIT_SAPLHRBEN00FEATURE_001 is the only component of PBEN0001. Adapt this function exit to meet your requirements.

• Activate the enhancement project. The benefit area will now be assigned in accordance with the coding stored in the function exit.
