Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A WRITE statement with the REC= clause was run that tried to write a record that already existed in the file. The record is not written to the file.
Recovery . . . : This error can be intercepted by specifying a DUPREC clause on the WRITE statement (or an EXIT clause that refers to an EXIT statement that contains a DUPREC clause). The ERR intrinsic function can be used to identify the error that occurred. See the BASIC User''s Guide for more information on duplicate records.
