Controller &24 contact not successful on line &23. (C R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The short hold mode feature is being used on the X.21 line that connects the local system to controller &24. The system tried to contact controller &24, but the network identifier and control point name of the controller match those of a controller that is already active on the same line.
Recovery . . . : Do one or more of the following:
-- Use the appropriate change controller description command to change the switched line list (SWTLINLST parameter) to use another line.
-- Use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command to vary off the other controller if it is not currently being used.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
R -- Try the operation one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22. The error code is &40: An attempt was made to bring up a second station with the same network identifier and control point name as an already active station.
