Line &23 failed (C G R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . :
The connection from the LAN Emulation Client (LEC) to either the Broadcast and Unknown Server (BUS) or the LAN Emulation Server (LES) was unexpectedly cleared. The error code is &40.
Recovery . . . :
Vary off the line and vary it on again. If the LEC connection to the LES or the BUS continues to be cleared with the same error, contact the provider of the LES or BUS.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that recovery has been canceled.
G -- Start the automatic communications recovery again for line &23 as defined by the communications recovery limit (QCMNRCYLMT) system value.
R -- Try the operation one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . :
The connection from the LAN Emulation Client (LEC) to either the LAN Emulation Server (LES) or the Broadcast and Unknown Server (BUS) was unexpectedly cleared. The network switch, the LES, or the BUS cleared the call.
Error codes and their meanings are:
1EC08020 -- The connection from the LAN Emulation Client (LEC) to the Broadcast and Unknown Server (BUS) was unexpectedly cleared. The network cause code is &41.
1EC08021 -- The connection from the LEC to the LAN Emulation Server (LES) was unexpectedly cleared. The network cause code is &41.
Network cause codes:
If the network cause code value appears as *N, the call may have been cleared for one of the following reasons:
Due to a timeout.
Due to the loss of the physical connection.
The System i may have cleared the call because of other errors.
Otherwise, the network cause code contains the reason the network gave for not accepting the call. For cause codes definitions and recovery, see the Asynchronous Transfer Mode Support book.
