Cause . . . . . : A recovery option was chosen that may require multiple steps or involve multiple objects. If this recovery were to fail, then additional recovery is more complicated. To help ensure that the recovery is successful ensure that you have sufficient authority to the object(s) that will be involved and the commands that may be used.
Recovery . . . : If the forward recovery option was chosen, then the authority required by the Apply Journaled Changes (APYJRNCHG) command will be needed to the object(s) chosen for recovery and also to the APYJRNCHG command. If the object(s) is damaged, then authority will be needed to delete the object(s), to restore the object(s), to the Restore Object (RSTOBJ) command, and to the appropriate delete command for the object(s).
If the backout recovery option was chosen, then the authority required by the Remove Journaled Changes (RMVJRNCHG) command will be needed to all objects chosen, and also to the RMVJRNCHG command.
If the recover damaged journal option was chosen, then authority will be needed to all objects that are journaled to the journal (enough authority to end and restart journaling), to the journal (enough authority to delete and restore the journal), and to all the journal receivers that should be associated with the journal.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
I -- Processing is continued.
C -- Processing is terminated.
