Cause . . . . . : The device description &1 is not created. Reason code is &2. Reason codes and their meanings follow:
1301 -- Attached controller (CTL parameter) is remote and the device is local.
1304 -- Attached controller is the wrong type for this device, or attached controller already has the maximum number of devices attached, or this device is type *IPXD and the attached controller is attached to a line that is not Ethernet, not Token-Ring, or not Frame Relay.
1306 -- Attached controller is not APPN-capable (APPN parameter) but this device is APPN-capable. Or, the attached controller is APPN-capable or a virtual APPN controller (LINKTYPE parameter) and this device is not APPN-capable.
1307 -- Attached controller has a device attached that has the same value specified for both local and remote location names (LCLLOCNAME and RMTLOCNAME parameters), and the same value specified for both the remote network identifier (RMTNETID parameter) and the local network ID network attribute, as this device. For devices attached to virtual APPN controllers, a device with the same local and remote location names and the same value for both the remote network identifier and the local network identifier is already attached to a virtual APPN controller.
1308 -- The address value is outside of the valid range for the attached controller. For remote devices, the address is the location address (LOCADR parameter). For local devices, the address is the combination of the port (PORT parameter), the switch setting (SWTSET parameter), and the shared session number (SHRSSNNBR parameter).
0108 -- An internal operation failed to complete. Try the request again.
Recovery . . . : Correct any errors, then try the request again.
