Based-on physical files are not DDM files.

Cause . . . . . : While creating a remote logical file, using distributed data management (DDM) file &1 in library &2, the based-on physical files specified were not DDM files. The following are causes of the problem:
-- The DDS PFILE keyword does not specify DDM files.
-- When working in the System/36 environment, the file name parameter on the BLDINDEX procedure does not specify a DDM file.
Recovery . . . : If the DDM file does not already exist, create it (CRTDDMF command). Then do one of the following, and try the request again:
-- Change the DDS for the logical file to be created specifying DDM files on the DDS PFILE keyword.
-- For the System/36 environment, change the file name on the BLDINDEX procedure to specify a DDM file.
