Message : CPDA442
Server storage space &1 is partially damaged.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : During vary on processing for network server description (NWSD) &3, the server storage space &1 in library &2 was found to be partially damaged. This indicates that the previous vary off of the NWSD did not complete normally.
The vary on for network server description &3 continued. An attempt will be made to repair the damage to server storage space &1.
Recovery . . . : If network server description &3 changes to a status of ACTIVE then no action is required.
If network server description &3 remains in a status of VARY ON PENDING then damage which can not be repaired may have been found for server storage space &1 in library &2. In this case do one of the following:
-- Contact IBM service. They may be able to verify whether damage was actually found for the server storage space.
-- Restore the server storage space &1 in library &2 from a backup with the restore object command (RSTOBJ). The network server description &3 must first be varied off using the vary configuration command (VRYCFG).
-- Delete the network server description &3 with the delete network server description command (DLTNWSD) and then create it again using the create network server description command (CRTNWSD). If the network server description has a role of "domain controller" (DMNROLE = *DMNCTL) then this will result in a loss of the domain controller database information. The network server description must first be varied off using the vary configuration command (VRYCFG).
