Message : CPDB1B9
Status of auxiliary storage pool (ASP) device &1 not changed. Reason code is &2.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The reason code is &2. Possible reason codes and their meanings are:
-- 0001 The resource is in use by another device description.
-- 0002 The resource &5 for device &4 does not exist or has not reported in.
-- 0003 Status not changed because of a timeout or other error.
-- 0004 Status not changed because the relational database name (RDB) parameter specified for ASP device &1 is currently used by primary ASP &3. If the primary using the RDB name is *N, the RDB name specifed is the same as the system name.
-- 0005 Reset failed because primary ASP &3 status is ACTIVE.
-- 0006 Reset failed because user does not have authority for ASP device &4 of the ASP group.
-- 0007 Reset failed because the primary ASP &3 for ASP device &1 could not be resolved.
-- 0008 Reset failed because an object lock for the ASP group, of which ASP device &1 is a part of, could not be obtained.
-- 0009 Status not changed because resource &5 does not have an associated device description.
-- 0010 No device description is associated with the primary resource for ASP device &1.
Recovery . . . :
-- 0001 Specify a different resource, or vary off the other device description. Use the DASD Management (DM) graphical user interface (GUI) of System i Navigator to determine the name of the other ASP device description using this resource.
-- 0002 Use the DM GUI of System i Navigator to determine if the resource name specified on the ASP device description is a valid resource. If the resource name is valid, then try the request again.
-- 0003 Use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) or Work with Configuration Status (WRKCFGSTS) commands to vary off and reset the ASP device description.
-- 0004 Use the VRYCFG or WRKCFGSTS commands to vary off the ASP device description using the RDB name or use the Change Device ASP (CHGDEVASP) command to change the RDB value on the ASP and try the request again. If *N, change the RDB name to a value other than the system name.
-- 0005 Use the VRYCFG or WRKCFGSTS commands to change the status of primary ASP device description &3 to AVAILABLE.
-- 0006 Object authority must be *USE and *OBJMGT, or special authority *JOBCTL is needed. Obtain proper authority from your security officer or the object owner.
-- 0008 Use the Work with Object Lock (WRKOBJLCK) command to determine what job is holding the lock(s) on the ASP device description(s) of the ASP group.
-- 0009 Use the Create Device Description ASP (CRTDEVASP) command to create a device description to associate with the resource.
-- 0010 Use the CRTDEVASP command to create a device description for the primary resource of ASP device &1.
